Did the job no problem
Purchased to remove a chewed-up wheel nut, and worked fine, 1st time. I just put the tool on the nut, tapped it on firmly with a hammer, and turned. I purchased the Expansion Set because I only really needed 1 size, the 19mm. I was a bit concerned about it only having a 3/8" square drive, as I thought it might not take a lot of torque. However, that wasn't an issue as I put a 27mm socket on the hex end of the tool and had no problem removing the nut in question. It's more expensive than non-branded equivalents, but I've always thought of Irwin as a good brand and I didn't want to find that a cheaper tool didn't work.

A quality bit of kit
Needed to remove 3 12mm rusted and seized bolts from my old Volvo and was sceptical whether these would work but paid the money and took a chance. Fingers crossed I tapped on the closest size socket and used firm steady pressure on the ratchet as the socket bit down on the bolt and pulled them straight out. Worked for me.
There were 4 bolts holding my brake calipers to the suspension legs. They were all rusted. Got one bolt loose at the 1st attempt, got a further 2 bolts loose at the 2nd attempt, couldn't budge the 4th bolt on the 3rd attempt despite using an oxy-acetylene torch, had to stop as rubbers were starting to burn. So ordered a set of these, although I only needed the 13mm one, and finally got that last bolt removed on my 4th attempt. Just take it gentle, pull the ratchet off the socket and hammer the socket back on occasionally, and it came loose. I ordered the expansion set as I could use 3 of the 5 on a Ford car, pity you can't order them in the sizes you need only. Product worked for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth the weight in gold
Amazing bit of kit, get the base set aswell and you'll very rarely get stuck again. Used these a couple of times for rounded bolts on suspension and they worked a treat. Also used it recently for a very rounded egr bolt.
