As delivered, the punch was totally unusable. It was extremely blunt, to the point that it would not cut anything no matter how hard you hit it. I spent a good hour forming a cutting edge and then honing it. This is not easy and I'm fortunate to have the skills and tools to do this, some may not! It now cuts easily and will just require a light honing to keep the edge sharp. Why am I not leaving a negative review? The kit (when finished properly) works well and is reasonable value.
