I needed a Haynes car servicing book to look after my 1999 Volvo v70 2.5D car. My car is a diesel engined vehicle for which there is not a Haynes manual and never will be, I therefore reasoned that the Haynes manual for the petrol version of the same year, should in many respects, be similar to my car, except for engine and diesel fuelling aspects. Having already had to investigate electrical faults associated with tail gate electrics, I was able to see wiring colours that were similar in purpose to my car, from the work I have already carried out and can see suspension, brakes and lights are the same, so that I have a lot of common equipment information to refer to. The price was a big saving on having to buy a new book, so I am very happy with the outcome.
