So simple to use.
This is a lot better quality than I'd expected at this price. Really easy to use, just slide it over the ball joint, flick in the direction you need to turn it until it grips, hold, fit the spanner or 1/2" drive socket in the end and twist on or off. So much easier and quicker than faffing around with grips or pipe wrench type things and less chance of doing damage to the joint. I'll probably not use it again for a long time but I can see others borrowing it, though It's good enough quality to see regular use in a commercial garage. The 35-45mm dia will fit the Renault Master ball joints, so probably the Trafic, Movano and Nissan as well.This is a lot better quality than I'd expected at this price. Amazing tool for the money. Used this on a 2012 kia ceed to crack off and replace both inner tie rods. Access around the tie rods on this model is quite tight and this fitted in with 3/4 mm to spare,it would probably be near impossible to use stilsons,certainly way harder. Expect the tool to spin off a couple of times before it bites into the diameter but it does get hold eventuality,the tie rods where thread locked in so that made them even harder to release. I’m not one to write reviews, but I needed to remove the inner track rod end on my Megane 2 (R26). I bought this product (a little dubious of how cheap it was) as I knew I’d struggle removing the inner track rod end with a pair of stilsons owing to the limited space I had to work with. The tool worked brilliantly and cracked the inner track rod end off without any fuss whatsoever. Super, super impressed with this and the quality is excellent. If you’re considering buying this, it’s definitely worth doing so as it makes life so much easier when doing a job like this. One of those tools which is handy to have in your toolbox even if it will only be used occasionally. It arrived on time and in good shape, the mechanism would work well but unfortunately the shaft wasn’t long enough for the rod on my vehicle, fortunately I was able to modify the item to suite my needs. Note to self; “check all the dimension of the product you are ordering “
