Quality is more on par with a China Walmart item; should be selling for $399 or $499.00. It's not 100% stainless as only the outer casing is stainless and a lower lightweight grade; not 304 or 316. Gears are cast steel; maybe galvanized. There is NO fire protection at all as the bottom is totally open so you have to take precautions with this. The 12V wiring/motor is also exposed with no heat protect. This part is NOT supposed to be on top of a charcoal firebox.
