Because the spindle on back wheel of my bike has two flat sides ordinary washers won't work so these shaped washers are a must as they stop spindle from turning and only the cog goes round.     These washers are not wishy washy

    I am delighted that washers of this fine quality are still available in this throw away age, no washer could ever surpass these for their exquisite form and profile. notice how they have raised areas that fit snugly into the slot of the frame and their ridged areas that grip tightly when the wheel nuts are tightened up. with these washers the Hercules' back wheel is'nt going anywhere except round and round everso fast.

    I needed these special shaped washers because the spindle on back wheel has 2 flat sides so washers hold spindle still so it doesn't turn round and only wheel goes round.
