    Money saver!!!!

    Part was delivered overnight to my work address. Downloaded the easy to follow (and very detailed) instructions and within an hour of starting the job I'd managed to open my stuck bonnet (as the old cable had corroded / snapped with the bonnet shut) and replace the cable. This saved me a lot of money!!! The product seems very good quality as well. Very happy buyer.

    Great little kit

    What a good idea! As I found with my snapped cable it had only corroded at the actual catch. Meaning the runner was all still perfectly fine. This kit meant I could easily fix the problem without going to town on the car body like I’d have to with the standard ford kit. I just wish I’d known about fords design floor sooner and this kit also, I’d have done it preemptively. Would have save the hassle of getting the bonnet open after the original cable snapped.

    Keep it on your watch list!

    I had this item on my watch list for some time so when the S-Max bonnet would not lock closed other than on the safety. I was encouraged (told) by Boss to get it. In actual fact the cable hadn't snapped but was corroded enough to become sticky and unreliable. This product is SOOO much easier to fit than looking for Ford part and all the dismantling that would need. The video is clear and to the point. I'd almost say get one for your tool box once the vehicle is a few years old or if you are keeping it. Quality product and speedy delivery which helped. Thanks.

    Mondeo Mk4 bonnet cable.

    After releasing the bonnet,the new cable took about 20 minutes to fit.I was going to repair original cable having found screw on nipples on ebay, like I’d done more than 50 years ago on push bike brake cables.I found your kit while looking for Ford cable .Very easy to fit ,saves loads of time and effort .If your outer cable is not damaged ,use this kit,don’t even think about changing the whole cable.
