About this product

Product Information

A staid American ambassador (Peck) and his wife are heartbroken when their child is stillborn, but their heartbreak is only beginning when they adopt an orphan. As the boy grows, disaster surrounds him, beginning with the suicide of his nanny, and as the bodies pile up, his horrified father begins to believe that the boy is evil incarnate and must be destroyed. The unique climax paved the way for two popular sequels, "Damien - Omen II" and "Final Conflict."

    A classic horror film

    This movie is a classic because it features Gregory Peck who is an icon in the theatre. Lee Remick was also brilliant as his wife. I was in suspense for the most part, and would recommend this movie to any horror enthusiast. Maureen Maloney

    the omen

    This movie was release in July 1976. Since the remake was release on June 6,2006. Jerry Goldsmith won the Oscars for best score. I had never own this movie on vhs. This movie saved money at 20th Century Fox Studios for George Lucas to finish up with Star Wars.

    the omen with gregory peck

    this movie is a classic!!! it still scares the hell out of me!!!!! the first time i saw it i was 16 yrs old.WHAT an impact!!!

    The Omen VHS

    This movie was very entertaining. I like to watch it when they play it every Halloween. It is nice to own it on VHS.
