About this product

Product Information

These rods are made from polyester that has been reinforced with glass particles, and are perfect for retrieving wires and cables from HVAC ducts, underneath floorboards, deep within wall cavities, and other hard to reach spots. In addition to the ten flexi rods, each set contains three attachments: a ring end for pushing cables, a hooked end for grabbing and pulling, and a flexi extender for extra length.

    Good for what they are

    The are as good a quality as any other rods in this range. One snapped the thread when I tried to bend the rods a little too much routing cables through a ceiling. They lock together well and are fairly secure and are quite rigid when pushing down a tray or trunking. I have since used the SuperRods and there is a world of different in quality, but also a lot more expensive. I'm forever leaving them in ceilings or losing them around site so they are ideal for me.

    "did the job"

    Wanted this for a "one off" and it saved hours in wasted time on a nightmare job. Not the best quality but it paid for itself ten times over and dead cheap at twelve quid, bearing in mind that a professional quality set can cost well over a hundred pounds. Well worth buying just in case you might need it at some point and for the money you cant go wrong.

    Cable rods

    When you need to pull 5 cables through duct in one go these are what you need! Rigid enough to be pushed through the duct without snagging, they are strong enough to pull in heavy cable through long duct runs but also flexible to cope with gentle bends. Screw together lengths makes the joints secure and means you can remove or or add rods as you go if access space is limited. I’ve used 2sets together on a 20m run successfully. Good product to use as long as bends are not really tight.

    Great for money but need to check that ends are securely fixed. If not then a spot of gorilla glue does the job

    Buy extremely good value

    Needed some electrician’s rods, for a home project, and these have preformed excellent, so for me it has saved a lot of time and effort, and been excellent, not to thick around 4mm, they bend well without breaking or stressing, Purchase them I am sure you will not be disappointed,
