James Woods in -Shark the TV series
I love the TV series Shark with James Woods. He plays a former defense attorney where winning was the only thing that mattered , and winning is what he did best no matter what .., Shark has a change of heart and takes a job with the LA district attorney's high profile crime unit. leading a team of young inexperienced prosecutors and doing whatever it takes to deliver justice. a very good series

Not jumping the shark
James Woods is obviously a really good actor, yet he plays the part of Sebastian Stark so wonderfully devious. You really end up rooting for a guy who is willing to "BEND" the law to get justice. The supporting cast is wonderful as well, beautiful Jeri Ryan, and Henry Simmons are both wonderful and belivable in thier roles. The stories are well written and even better acted. Shark - Season 1
Let's take the question why buy it first. When watching a show on tv with commercials, you tend to lose some contrast to where the show is going, or remembering what they are saying or doing. These commercials just seem so stupid these days and so repetitive so boring and who wants to know about drugs that you can ask your doctor about anyway. I do not make time to watch these shows on any given night so it's convenient to watch dvd. I watched Shark once and my wife watched it and really said it was good so I bought it on dvd. It is really a good show, well put together and James Woods plays a lawyer really well. The father-daughter inter-action is superb.Let's take the question why buy it first. great show, even if it is a bit predictable, if you like crime shows try it
my boyfriend and i bought this for his mom, who is a huge James Woods fan. we wanted to make sure the discs played ok so we watched it. by 'we' i mostly mean ME lol! i like a lot of the court/crime shows, but i am pretty picky about what i watch because there are so many out there. however, i LOVE this one! it's a little predictable i think, but a bit different from what i usually watch. would definitely recommend giving this show a shot if you like ones similar to it!my boyfriend and i bought this for his mom, who is a huge James Woods fan. we wanted to make sure the discs played ok so we watched it. by 'we' i mostly mean ME lol! i like a lot of the court/crime shows, but i am pretty picky about what i watch because there are so many out there. however, i LOVE this one! it's a little predictable i think, but a bit different from what i usually watch. would definitely recommend giving this show a shot if you like ones similar to it!

James Woods...YES!
Do you know what television has been missing for years? JAMES WOODS! He is perfect in this show. He should have been doing this instead of VAMPIRE movies. Now, I prefer to stay home Friday nights to see this. The dvd box set is loaded with a behind the scenes look and blah blah blah. But the best part of having this on DVD is NO COMMERCIALS INTERRUPTING THE ACTION. That makes me happy!
