With a nod to high-profile titles such as the GameCube's Wave Race: Blue Storm and PS2's original Splashdown, Global Star prepares Xbox gamers to Carve through the briny blue in this value-minded release. Built by U.K.-based veteran developer Argonaut (Star Fox, I-Ninja), this game saddles players on a souped-up watercraft as part of a team of racers working together to conquer the worldwide circuit. Players choose one of eight exaggerated extreme sports-style characters; four men and four women are available. The game's 27 courses include races through European canal systems, down the twists and waterfalls of American rivers, across the Arctic, and a final challenge in a run known as "Steel Ocean." Multiplayer racing is supported through Xbox Live for up to eight competitors.

    Crappy

    I bought this game expecting the next generation of Waverace. What I got was a grim reminder that good games are getting harder and harder to find. This game has graphics that look like they were played on Sega Genesis and game play was less than average.I don't recomend this title.

    Fast and Fun

    Fun game. Good to play with family. Kids can play without content worries. Liked it very much. Nice tutorials as well. Only thing is it could use more maps.

    Carve Xbox game

    As a beginner it is challenging just to get thru a race. But this gives you something to work towards. So far I like it!
