    Understanding

    My dad was a wartime farmer and worked the land with carthorses, two of his brothers served their country, one army John, who survived, the other George, RAF was shot down over chanel, his body not recovered but his name George Edward Ellwood is on the Runneymede Memorial. An insight into the importance of hardworking horses and men and love which carried them through.
