I put a tenner on the card and currently am using it with a PC so that it can send my phone a text if the Internet connection goes off. So far this hasn't happened, which is good 'cos I haven't quite got the 4G adaptor working with my Raspberry Pi setup yet. It's one of those '4G hotspot' things where it gives you a data connection on an independent hotspot. Problem is that this means my Pi has to have two Wi-Fi connections on at the same time. Fun..

The problem is, ANY sim card will show full signal strength until payment put on to activate, then, zero signal or 1 bar after networks relinquish your cash. I'm in Towyn North Wales where O2 is simply diabolical but I've yet to try these 🆕 sims. Superfast delivery though, and great value when they work.
