These newer revisions of the DP832 are more likely to ensure noise ripple stated specs. Some of the older revisions had issues. I.E voltage regulator that could cook hot meals, omittance of 100nF output caps allowing a lot of common mode noise into the output.
In general I am very pleased with the newer revisions, good bench top power supply for the money.
