Excellent service delivered on time. The hose connections are not in a seperate bag within the box which initially makes you think they are missing. A closer look revealed that they are in a bag but squeezed between the hose and reel itself. MIne were a bit awkward to get out because the hose was coiled around them. Follow the instructions to fit the connections, not forgetting the anti-kink wire, and it's ready for use. Good value and better than my last one.

    Functional hose reel

    It is what I expected, except that I had to connect the hose to the reel. In previous years, when I have bought a hose and reel the two have come connected. I would not normally mention this but it was because of the slight difficulty in connecting the two with this particular product. However I remain very pleased with it.

    Hose is good, reel is poor quality.

    The reel has come apart due to not being able to withstand the water pressure. The hose appears to be of good quality and has given no problems. An on/off switch at the nozzle end of the hose would be useful for a 30m hose.

    Hazelock 2412 Compact hosr

    This is a replacement of the same product I had for years. It has the same fault, either handtighten the extension or use a tool and fitting cracks. Can't handtighten anymore so is leaking at the moment.
