Cut cleanly.
I spent a day using these on a big old climbing rose and they cut very well, the blades are excellent quality. In retrospect I should have bought the medium size as I find it hard to use the catch on the top (my last pair had the catch on the side). Also the spring fell out after an hour and I had to hunt for it amongst the clippings - I hope this won't happen again. Best buy for under £20
These are excellent cutters. I've had mine for 6+ years so far and use them a lot as I do gardening as a job. They get through pretty hard branches easily and are very comfortable to use with the shock absorbing cushions, The spring shows no sign of falling out. I quite anticipate my current ones to last at least 10 years, but have bought a second pair as they were at a very good price and there is the possibility of my losing my old ones whilst working (it happens)These are excellent cutters. High Quality and Excellent Value Secateurs
Tired of budget shop secateurs failing prematurely? I was. These are solid and well engineered. They have a good feel and balance in the hand. They can deal with tough jobs. My last Wilkinson Sword secateurs lasted for nearly 30 years-I should have learned from that. Do you really need to pay more and go for fashionable heavily marketed secateurs? No. These are a genuine bargain.
