The wife loves it. I don't
During our married life we've had maybe ten or more of these machines. To me this represents a huge waste of money. To my wife this represents years of easy cleaning and value for money. To me it represents hours of listening to that annoying hissing while I'm trying to work. To her it represents the necessary killing of bacteria, whether I can concentrate or not. To me: the gradual erosion of my paintwork, grouting and plaster. To her: effortless cleaning. To me: the inevitable sound of the seals having gone somewhere on the machine and the need to send it back to Polti for a repair. To her: easy stain removal. To me: a piece of Italian engineering akin to the old Alfa I used to drive which fell to pieces. To her: clean carpets. To me: rotting underlay. To me: useless. To her: ... During our married life we've had maybe ten or more of these machines. To me this represents a huge waste of money. To my wife this represents years of easy cleaning and value for money. Great performance and build quality
Not the cheapest but worth it. Variable steam (unlike my old cleaner) means you can get just the right amount to clean the floor without having to dry it. Floor head easily takes any cloth so cut up an old towel to make several cloths, unlike some other makes you don't have to buy special cloths. Window cleaner is good too, also used for tiles round the shower.

Steam Ceaner (Vaporetto Pro 3000
The steam cleaner is easy to set up and even easier to use. The unit gets up to temperature quicker than I had expected and overall performance is excellent. On annoying aspect is the flimsy locking units that hold the bits together tend to fall out.
