    Pretty Good

    A possible deterrent to casual thieves or meddlers and appears to be well mas=de. It is a great size and certainly works well when I have tested it. Obviously wont foil the professionals but there again not much will if they are intent on stealing your bike. Overall a good product and a good price.

    Good solid looking lock but wimper of a scream.

    A good solid lock which would certainly give trouble to any would be thief. However, the only downside is the alarm itself is pretty pathetic. To call this a Screamer truly is a joke. It certainly wouldn't wake the dog up from its slumber in the dead of night.

    Lock is serviceable ,but the ‘screamer alarm ‘is a pathetic joke .

    To call this item a ‘screamer’ is a joke , I replaced the battery at a cost of £5.50 almost immediately as I thought the pitiful whimper that came from it was due to a poor quality battery as mentioned on several reviews and forums , however even with a new battery the ‘screamer’ is pathetic ! It’s no louder than a meowing kitten , and would certainly not draw undue attention even in the dead of night , but on a busy street it’s barely noticeable , the lock itself is serviceable but the alarm is a useless joke .

    Oxford screemer

    The Oxford Screemer Disc Lock. Once you've got this set up, and on your bike, if it is tampered with in any way it screems like a banshee very very loud make sure you park your bike in a very public place; that way it should catch someone's attention should the unthinkable happen. I fully recommend this product, It is a little heavy but you want a lock that i reasonably substantial and for the price well i think this is it.
