  • Well worth the time to play!

I found this game very enjoyable in spite of the shortcomings. The pluses are (sometimes) logical puzzles, very interesting sets and scenarios. It also has a substantial play time and when events are timed, the allowed time is generous, relying on the speed of your wits, not your finger-clicks. It also has a picture logic puzzle at the end (where you figure which blocks to color or leave blank) which I found extremely delightful! The negatives are the speech - hardly anything said is informative and when I instinctively clicked the object again hoping for a toggle-off, the whole sentence is again repeated - irritating. Also, almost all of the game is in shadows which is very hard on the eyes; in fairness, though, on the whole, the game does not use the darkness as a cheap way to increase ...

  • The Mystery of the Mummy

I guess I'm spoiled with the Nancy Drew PC games, because I found this game very hard to use. When you would try to look around a room it would over react, so when pointing up or down, left or right it would go overboard, and then when trying to correct your move, it would overcorrect. So that was annoying. The animation and the way the rooms appeared was impressive. I did not complete the game, but the rooms that I went into and found clues in, were interesting. One of the games was so hard to figure out that I just gave up on the whole PC game. Maybe my expectations were too high. I really like mystery stories around Egypt and mummies etc. and so I thought this would be alot of fun. But for me it was, kinda boring and frustrating to play.

  • This was an okay Game.

I liked the adventure part of this game, but for the most part it is hard to figure out. I had to go online many times for hints because the game is unclear about what you are to do next. Some levels are timed which can make it even more difficult. This is the second Sherlock game I have played and both were so frustrating that I didn't enjoy them. Maybe it's because I have played the Nancy Drew Mysteries first and these are nothing in comparison to the fun of Nancy Drew games. Hope this helps you out!

  • The Mystery of the Mummy PC Game

This was your usual run of the mill mystery game where you run around finding clues and objects to make it to the next level. However, I found that some of the puzzles to be too hard to the point you have to use a walkthrough cheat. There are timed events also that are very disappointing because they don't give you enough time to complete the task. Wish I wouldn't have bought this game.

  • Decent

It is a pretty good game. You may have to rely on hints off of the internet a lot. Decent for the price.
