Synopsis
John Bollinger is a giant in today s trading community. His Bollinger Bands sharpen the sensitivity of fixed indicators, allowing them to more precisely reflect a market s volatility. By more accurately indicating the existing market environment, they are seen by many as today s standard and most reliable tool for plotting expected price action. Now, in Bollinger on Bollinger Bands , Bollinger himself explains how to use this extraordinary technique to compare price and indicator action and make sound, sensible, and profitable trading decisions. Concise, straightforward, and filled with instructive charts and graphs, this remarkable book will be essential reading for all serious traders, regardless of market. • Does a good job

I have recently been using Bollinger Bands more and more in my own analysis and I was looking for a text that described their use a bit more. This seemed to be the obvious candidate since it is written by John Bollinger himself. There's a bit more history and philosophy at the start, but it's not bad once it gets moving along. I really appreciate that the charts and figures don't look like they are from another century, like Peter Lynch's books. It's from 2004, but still holds up fairly well graphically. It's written well, is an easy read and gives plenty of food for thought for technicians. I wouldn't break the bank to buy it, but if you can find it cheap enough and have the time, it's worth the effort.
