Product Information

Continuing their line of game shows titles for the NES GameTek brings you Double Dare, which at one time was a staple of the Nickelodeon television network. A game that will test children's reflexes and brain power, Double Dare is a series of wacky contests.<br><br>Players must engage in such activities as trampoline bouncing, a spaghetti shooting, cake catching, water basketball, putty golf (using eggs), bowling (using cantaloupes), and kangaroo catch. They must also catch rings on their heads, play catch with a gorilla, catch pies in their pants, and bounce their partners onto a trampoline.<br><br>There are more than 1,000 questions in this game, each of which involves knowledge of general trivia. At the end of the game, the team with the highest winnings gets to compete in an obstacle course.

    Double Dare

    So they attempted to remake the show I grew up watching, but the only thing that they got right that responds well, are the trivia questions, even though it still lags, it's a lot better than the physical challenges. Most of the physical challenges are very difficult if not impossible, so you end up attempting to answer trivia questions that you don't know the answer to just so you don't have to play the physical challenges, which is backwards thinking compared to the show, I always hated the trivia questions, and couldn't wait for the physical challenges, a lot of the questions are easy, but some make you say WTF? When you get to the obstacle course, you don't really do anything except for press the A button(I think), over and over, than you have to stand perfectly under the flags and ...
