Good for the price
I was intrested to know how much water I was using in my small veggie patch and greenhouse. I am on a water meter and this gives a good approximation of the amount I am using. I have tested by accuracy by filling known water quantities eg 10 litre watering can and seems to be not far off. I had read in previous reviews to keep water off this externally as it can damage it. Being forewarned I am careful to avoid this. Excellent piece of equipment. Simple to use just goes between tap connector and your hose . Just turn on the tap and the display comes on and it is working. It has two total volume displays that are quick and easy to reset (2 seconds) and a continuous flow display which can be st to gallons or litres. I have a 2000 litre rainwater tank so I now can monitor how much water I am using very easily so I don't run out of water and run the pump dry. Additionally I know how much water I have put on each part of the garden so I get consistent results. A excellent buy I would thoroughly recomend.Excellent piece of equipment. Very handy device
This is a very handy little device for measuring the volume of water used by sprinklers, leaky hoses and other garden / greenhouse watering systems. If your household water supply is metered then this meter could save you a fortune. Note that the meter requires a minimum flow rate of 2 litres/min so may not operate on some micro-mist / dripper installations.
