We’ve watched mice running in and out, and the rat we saw stood on the trap door and ate all the bait bit disappointing, such a shame in theory it is a good design just needs to be longer.

    escapees find freedom

    great trap but somehow between mate texting me and me arriving at trap 2 of the rats had managed to escape somehow ive an idea how they done it above trap door rats could touch trapdoor one claw in then a nose escape complete im thinking of modifying it to prevent it happening again it is lovely well built cage and you can pick it up in complete safety without a bite

    Very sturdy, well made, easy to operate but has failed so far!

    Has been placed in the undergrowth that the rat uses as a run, it has not been moved and bait changed 3 times. Nothing! The rat although is brazen enough to come out in daylight hours, has so far avoided the trap, with 3 changes of bait!

    Rats just do not seem to want to be caught humanely, not one has ventured into this despite yummy food in it.

    Rats too clever for this trap.

    We love by a stream and keep poultry. So rats are a never ending problem. We’ve had this trap out for more than 2 weeks now with various bait and it’s caught absolutely nothing. Sticking to poison from now on, what a waste of money.
