    Nice little tone tool.

    The TBX is a custom dual gang pot, with the top half 250k for half, going no load in the middle, and the other 1M pot half being low resistance half the way round, then going up to 1M from there. So you can't do this with anything other than the proper TBX pot. I wired mine up different: as a Regular LPF knob in the bottom half (as usual), proper no load in the middle, and a bass roll-off from there up. (Google for more info) I've never been a big tone pot user, but this adds a bit more use to my tone knob. Shame it doesn't also come in 500k + say 1.5 or 2M, better suited to humbucker guitars, and would give more change as a result. This doesn't matter so much in my no-load centre detent wiring though. Not sure how well it'd work in regular configure for that. I've got 2 though so am well ...

    Room for improvement

    Works as intended but I like my potentiometers to feel loser so that they can be turned using my pinky with ease, these feel stiff and it can't really be controlled this way. They are a unique product though and no single knob alternative exists so for this reason I will tolerate this. Despite this, they have a good quality contruction and the electrical tapers work well.

    TBX tone control adds some brightness

    Works exactly as expected. The effect is subtle, but useful, especially for adding some brightness to strat single coil positions 2 and 4.
