    The projectors arrived in excellent condition as advertised. I was concerned about the shipping. They both came in the same box with excellent wrapping. This was my first time ordering thru Ebay and I have been very pleased with the experience. I had been looking for a pair of projectors but the ones I was looking at were in the $300-$400 apiece! Imagine my surprise when I was able to locate these NEC projectors for $125 apiece. They are just what I needed.

    This was a very nice projector packed well arrived promptly, but unfortunately, it was too big to fit in our ceiling box. However, the seller was gracious about returning it.  I am confident that my refund will come after the seller rechecks the product for any possible shipping damage. Warning to buyers of used projectors: don’t go by the picture for the size! Get the manufacturers dimension specs if it’s not included in the eBay description!

    Can't install into Infocus LP640, spent 5 hours trying

    Installing a new lamp into the Infocus LP640 projector is notoriously difficult, but in the past I've always accomplished it within a few minutes. The housing tan part of the lamp module must be made quite precisely to at least some of the critical dimensions, and many of these manufactured by different manufacturers are only barely or just plain not to the required precision. This one just wouldn't install, with difficulty goes in almost, but just won't go the last apx. 3/16 inch, preventing it from making electrical contact and from closing the interlock switch. Three of us tried for an hour and a half, finally gave up. I brought the unit home and worked on it again this afternoon for 3 hours, filed suspiciously oversize corners, even partly disassembled it, finally giving up. It ...

    Product fit projector very well. Simple job to install. Appeared to be of similar materials and build quality to the original housing and bulb. Initial viewing showed a clear, bright image with good contrast. Did not require tweaking to the color settings. Minor adjustments were needed to brightness and contrast senhad been set for the old, dying lamp. So far, happy with this purchase.
