    A console classic

    For its day, the Megadrive was probably the most capable console out there, it had excellent graphics, sound, and general appearance. the controllers were well styled and pleasant to use, and the games were awesome!, Non more so than Sonic, which remains as addictive as ever. With a Megadrive specific RGB to scart cable (get the one with the extra lead that plugs into the headphone socket for stereo sound) a scart to HDMI upscaler (get a good one, not a cheap one) and enjoy these classic games in super high resolution on your modern TV. There are single cartridges available with multiple games , up to 820 for little over £20. I have no regrets on this purchase!

    Nostalgia.....

    I have had many consoles over the years. I always end back at sega. I have had more fun on a megadrive and mega cd than any others. I chose the asian one again 1. As it is a model 1 and they look nicer, 2. It plays ntsc also. I haven't had a ntsc that doesn't work yet but apparently some US games don't work. It is 50hz though, the only downside. Great console.
