wax derived from olives
Although quite expensive, I bought this because it wasn't made from palm oil, which is usually produced unsustainably. I have not used any other emulsifying wax so cannot compare it with any other product. However it made the cream I wanted to a good consistency, with just a few flakes of wax in it. Perhaps the latter feature was due to not heating sufficiently. Overall quite happy with product apart from cost - but one is always penalised financially for choosing sustainable, environmentally safer products. Why is that? Should be other way round, but that's the crazy, upsidedown world we live in.Although quite expensive, I bought this because it wasn't made from palm oil, which is usually produced unsustainably. Luxury product
With a co emulsifier like glyceryl stearate a little xanthangum and Cetyl alcohol it makes a stable skin cream for both face and body. A feeling like velvet. Pure luxury. Marula and yoyoba oil is a favorite mix with a little soy butter. But almost any oil will do the trick. Thank you for a super product.
