It's difficult to judge shades on E Bay and the stain I bought was nowhere near dark enough.....but easy enough to return. I was a bit puzzled why they didn't offer a full refund - because I'd opened the bottle - only to check the actual shade. It wasn't like I'd used any of the contents and they could still sell it again in future. I advised that I would be happy to buy a darker shade from them but instead I just went to my local Hardware Store and bought from them. Once bitten and all that....
