    A narowboat essential

    This is a must have item for all you boaters out there using 12 volt electronic equipment from chartplotters to your 12 volt tv many 12 volt items can't handle a higher voltage and will fail when exposed to any more than 12 volts !! When your engine is running (charging) you can have up to 15 volts running through your electrical system and that can seriously damage your sensitive equipment!! This piece of kit will Handle up to 30 volts and regulate it down to 12 volts protecting sensitive equipment from overpowering giving it a much longer lifespan, this regulator can power items up to 6 amps (600watts) more than enough for your average boats equipment.

    I have only tested this for output voltage: lightly loaded and 4.5Amp load at both 12V and 24V. Found in all cases output voltage very good - just under 12V
