Nowheres near what It could have been.
To be blunt in this matter, while the story was plausible (and only partly based on the comics version), the constant anal chatter from the lead character was not funny after the first five minutes, and there were several scenes of rather emphasized gay behavior which was unpalatable at best and rude at worse. If this series is to continue it needs a new director at the very least, who wishes to make a superhero movie with the God of Thunder rather the God of Psychoses. I don't know if I am going to watch this again, and I keep wondering how long Disney's stockholders are going to put up with the entire phase 4, which has made nowhere's near the money its predecessors did, constantly making movies appealing to a very small cross section of their viewing audience and the paying public. Time will no doubt tell. I would not advise allowing young children to watch this movie due to suggestive behavior and the mildly (to an adult) scary scenes. Thor: Love and Thunder - The movie is a blunder
This movie was not made with the comic book character in mind. Thor comics were made as "action" comics. Whoever wrote the screenplay should go hide in a back room somewhere for ruining what could have been a good movie. The movie actually had a pretty good story line, but it was cluttered with so many "gag" lines (that were really not that funny) that made it very hard to watch. it does have some good special effects so I gave it 1 star for the special effects.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
