Ship commander Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) anchored the crew of the Starship Enterprise-D with a sensitive reserve that marked a distinct contrast to his trigger-happy predecessor, whose role was assumed by the Kirk-like second-in-command, William Riker (Jonathan Frakes). Rounding out the cast were the Spock-like android, Data (Brent Spiner); blind officer, Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton); Klingon officer, Worf (Michael Dorn); ship doctor, Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden); her teenage son, Wesley (Wil Wheaton); and psychic psychiatrist, Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis). Considered one of the best STAR TREK spinoffs for its intelligent writing and superb sci-fi special effects, THE NEXT GENERATION lives on in cult fandom with this complete collection of episodes from the series' fourth season.

    Season 4 Star Trek Next Generation

    Another awesome season- theme was family and relationships! Season opens with the rescue of Picard from the Borgs- other episodes, Family, Brothers, Legacy, Galaxy's child, Suddenly Human and of course return of Q which is now part of the Family it seems role playing Robin Hood!! Another surprise season Finale- have to wait for Season 5 to find out is there really a return of a character?? or maybe a child of one?? Suspense.....

    star trek: the next generation season 4

    Season4 comes right at the peak of the series, and has a strong lineup of episodes. favorites of mine include "Brothers", "First Contact", "Qpid", "Family', and of course the season contains the conclusion to "Best of Both Worlds". This is the season to have.
