Jay and Silent Bob's beginnings.
I bought this to own all the Jay and Silent Bob films. Good dialogue and script saves this film from feeling dated. I persoanlly don't like the black and white filming, but it doesn't detract from the film. Not Jay and Bob's finest, though it's a beginning and well worth seeing to put in perspective Jay and Bob's history. Essential if you want to see Clerks 2.

Good movie but not his best
I bought this when I started listening to Kevin Smiths smodcast network because of the many references to the movie in the podcasts. As this was the first movie from the Director and the pains he went through for its release i can say that it was worth a veiw, if only to get the jokes on the pod cast.

One of those days!
When I recommend this film to people they always ask 'so what happens?' The answer has to be 'not a lot but it's hilarious!' It took me a while to get around to watching it for that very reason. I'd heard of it and that it was 'cult' 'classic' etc but never got around to seeing it. I watched it for the first time about a month ago, I've seen it 4 times now, it's that good! Based around a day in the life of a convenience store clerk who gets called in on his day off 'I'm not supposed to be here today' and his buddy who works next door. Girlfriends, ex girlfriends, customers, neighbourhood freaks, ex school mates all turn up at some point and add to the general melee. My favourite bit, well I'll let you find out when you see the film, it involves the ex, and watch out for the 'Star Wars' ... When I recommend this film to people they always ask 'so what happens?'
