I have purchased this again as my original tape, yes that's right they were cassettes back then! ;-) was on it's last legs. I have every James album but this still has to be one of my favourites, love the classic's johnny yen and really hard!! Lots of very lively tunes on this one! Recommended! 10/10 Roll on the next James tour, wahey!! :-)

i had this bought me for christmas and it is the best album from the early years of James. I have this album on cassette and its good to have this album cd as well.

Cool debut
Good old album to start any New James fan going way back. includes the classic Johnny Yen but first 2 tracks Skulldugery and scarecrow classic James (for me anyway) of the time.

An awsome early album from James, on my first listening i was struck how much it is similar in sound it is to the Smiths. Jonny Yen is the highlight for me. A must buy for any James fan.
