    Recipe that my grandmother used to make!

    I have been wanting this book for years but finally ordered it since the price was so good. I ordered this for a specific recipe that my grandmother used to make, Russian borscht. My grandmother now has Alzheimer’s so it means so much to me to have this recipe. I looked online but didn’t see any similar borscht recipes to what she made. This book is amazing it has a recipe for anything you could dream up as well as good old fashioned recipes.

    Had to be this edition

    My daughter just moved into her first house and asked if she could have my old cookbook that she has known her whole life. I did not want to part with it because Joy Of Cooking comes out with a new edition every few years. So I was thrilled when I found this one to replace mine.

    Title is same as it has always been.

    I have been using The Joy of Cooking for many years but did not have this edition. It is a good edition because it has a lot of ethnic recipes in it. I had been reading it at a friend's house and decided to order it. It is great.
