Shirt looks OK, but arrived very wet? Moisture inside the clear plastic wrapper had actually condensed into drops on the wrapper. Also, shirt was very warm to the touch, as if someone had attempted to dry it out on a radiator or similar. I don't think it will effect the shirt, which is now hanging in our airing cupboard to completely dry out prior to ironing!

affordable compact set for occasional use.
This set is ideal for a home workshop. Thread clearing, checking and new projects. It is a budget set so would not endure prolonged heavy use without wear. It does give you a starter tap and a die for the common sizes so if you are trying to recover a blind stud hole you will need to get the additional taps in that size. It is compact in its metal holder so has little impact on shelf space so will fit in most tool chests easily. There is no hasp on the container lid so how long the friction fit will last will be be dependent on usage and avoiding damage. Marking the lid top will save opening the wrong way up which could result in the contents all over the bench.This set is ideal for a home workshop. Thread clearing, checking and new projects. Useless, poor quality, DON'T purchase.
These taps & dies are made from soft material, so if you are going to use them on anything harder than plastics they will be useless. I used the 5/16 UNF tap on mild steel, 1/8inch thick. I managed to tap the hole but upon inspecting the tap after use could see that all the cutting edges had been worn away, & couldn't be used again. Thinking it may be just the one bad tap I put a needle file across a couple of more taps, & believe it or not the file removed metal from the taps. These I guess are made in the far east & are cheap useless rubbish. Ok for price did the job I bought it for.
Used it to retread steel1/2" nut ,took the edge off the first two cutting threads not sure if it would survive a second and third time .Having said that I didn't expect professional gear at the price.
