    A lot smaller than I anticipated and works better than many YouTube reviews suggest because each gel pad cuts down on the overtones on properly tuned toms, floor Tom (where I applied the large pad) and high ping sustain found on certain snare drums (put gel pad halfway between the edge and center). Also, the tackiness of the compound is just enough to hold the gel pad in place without overdoing it and making it difficult to remove or relocate. Happy with the design and happy with the purchase.
