Attention DMX, Nas, Method Man, Crucial Conflict Fans
The movie up for review is Belly. It involves fast money, and violence. Director Hype Williams did a spectacular job with the camera work. I especially like the scenes at Bun's (DMX) House. Every room in Buns house has a different colored neon lighting scheme. The kitchen is yellow, the living room red, the bed room blue. It makes the schenes more intense. The story line is good, it's about two friends who smuggle drugs from New York to Omaha Nebraska, and all of the drama that comes with it. Pretty much everyone did a good job at acting exept for Nas and T-Boz from TLC. They seem like they haven't had much experience at acting, and don't display believable emotion in their acting schenes. Method Man plays a urban hitman, does a excellent job. The overall point Im trying to make is, Watch This Movie, and if you ever talk to Nas, tell him to stick to rapping, because he can't act if his life depended on it!
