    Does not appear to be genuine Bernina product

    This does not appear to be a Genuine Bernina product. There is no number engraved on the foot, and Bernina does not appear on any of the packaging. It does not allow the lever that holds it on the machine to fully engage. The screw that holds on the center pin (to make thread shanks) has very little depth and so barely holds in place. Just does not look or feel like Bernina quality. It can be made to work if you continually adjust the lever to hold it in place, and if you don't want the thread shank you fully remove the center pin - can be loosened and shifted out of the way.
