    Very bare necessities for cooking/ survival

    All item break done and nest in side the standard canteen carrier, with the canteen, no extra carrier pouches to use up valuable belt space. Very light weight, good aluminium and stainless construction. Has, in my opinion, the basic individual cooking/ survival needs cover. A pot to boil water if need be also us as a cup. A nice lid for your pot, and a cook stand to elevate the pot off of the fire, best part is it adds just ounces to your kit, and stacks to store in a basic 1qt canteen carrier, no special pouch needed. Would've gave 5 stars, if the stand were a little heavier. My opinion is, buy one,it's nice and a good thing to have in your kit, just in case.

    Go with the G.I. MUCH better quality.

    It looks like the G.I. canteen stove, but it's WAAAY thinner metal and it's much more flimsy and easily bent. Take a pass on the Rothco product and get the G.I. one. It's worth the couple extra bucks. I own both and can speak with authority on this.

    Cheap material

    I bought this for my stainless steel canteen and cup. But they send me a aluminum stove. And is to big my cup goes through it in both sides...?!?! Terrible!!!

    Great item for its purpose!

    The only thing I didnt like os the fact that it only fits on the Ronco canteen cup and not the actual G.I. issued canteen which i have. But beyond that its great!
