I wear them to sleep in & around the house, and with a rayon slip underneath to go out (darker colors may be fine but lighter ones can be sheer). The only thing is the fabric is thin & delicate especially when wet. So you must be very careful washing. I use cold water on hand wash/delicate cycle & a light spin. Then line dry overnight, haven't had any issues.
