a plodding film with no real plot
I bought this film by mistake, because I misunderstood what it was about. (so, my fault). It's a film with Jennifer Aniston, and it's about her being the "poor" one of a group of four friends. I guess I was thinking about a Friends episode where money became an issue, and I didn't really research what this film was about. So - the film follows four female friends, three of whom are pretty well off, plus Jennifer Aniston, who struggles to make ends meet, and has a few relationship issues. But, as far as I can tell, there is no real plot, in the sense that there is no beginning - middle - end. The film looks at each character's life, and what's happening, but it doesn't really develop FROM anywhere, and it doesn't GO anywhere except to say that everyone gets to reassess, and make changes ... Total rubbish. Why are films like this made. I am surprised Jenifer Aniston took part in this film, or anyone else for that matter.
