Moody thriller
Brooding thriller about a hit man, who is being pursued by deadly enemies, hiding away in a beautiful, hilltop Italian village. Just when he is beginning to question his way of life and finding romance with a local prostitute and friendship with a wise old priest he is tempted to emerge from the shadows for one last job. This beautifully photographed, moody story is not strong on action but is enthralling. George Clooney does a great job as the taciturn killer.Brooding thriller about a hit man, who is being pursued by deadly enemies, hiding away in a beautiful, hilltop Italian village. The American
Not quiet the film I was expecting, but not bad. There's not much action and the story moves along fairly slowly. George Clooney is in nearly every scene and doesn't say an awful lot. His expressions and general moping around are enough to carry the film. Rating C+

A poor effort from the great Clooney.
Having expected a great thiller, i must say i was bitterly disappointed! The story line starts really slowy as many do and we sat waiting for an action packed middle and end.....sadly it doesnt happen. The film has a good back bone but never shines neither does Clooney!
