    A tale of a tail...

    Who doesn't like to read about mermaids? Even though this was a children's book I was intrigued by the title. The author does a good job of weaving a modern day story about a 12 year old girl with everyday problems and mixing in a little fantasy and a mystery as well. The chapters are at a fast pace and there are some mild peril situations, but thankfully no gory details and wouldn't be too scary for young readers. It is a story about "trying to fit in", having a best friend, and having a secure home environment. Recommended read. 4 stars****

    Purchase of Emily Windsnap by Liz Kessler

    This book was easy to find on e-bay, I just typed in the author and found all of her books and the price was very affordable. My daughter is a total book-worm and the library does not always carry the books that she is interested in so I go on e-bay to buy them. It is much more economic. The book was in excellent condition!
