Apart from, that the damage was larger to that shown in the photos on-line, the kettle supplied came from THREE different boxes, i.e.THREE DIFFERENT Serial Numbers!! I also made the comment to the Seller that I wondered what our local trading Standards Office would make of what had been supplied. His reation was to offer a return label so that I could obtain a re-fund. That was too late as the kettle was already in use elsewhere. At no time did I get any explanation or apology!!

A good little toaster
The bread compartments are wide (It could fit 2 medium sliced pieces of wholemeal bread in one slot). It toasts bagels and current teacakes cut in half, and crumpets. I find it better toasting bread on its side, because if you stand it tall the top will stick out of the toaster and won't be toasted properly if the bread size is too high. The crumb tray is easy to empty. It has an eject, defrost and reheat button. The reheat button can come in handy when you're called away from your food. The browning dial is easy to use. For perfect toast I use the number four setting and for teacakes and bagels a number 2 setting - That's if all toasters of this model are set the same. Would prefer the slots to be 1-2cm deeper to take a normal loaf size, and toasting could be more even - but it is quite cheap.

Nice basic toaster
I have given 5 stars because it does what it is supposed to do. The wider slots are good if you want to put bagels or fruit buns in, but I do think that the slots are slightly too short. If I use a slice of bread from a loaf with a rounded top, it does not fit in and I have to slice a bit off the top. Bread from the smaller loaves there is not a problem. It is good value for the price.

Crumpet perfection
I just love crumpets and this toasts them to perfection. Ordinary toasters cannot accommodate the depth of a good crumpet. T is also perfect for bread and potato cakes. Very happy and would highly recommend

Chosen largely because it allows thicker toast and such, works well, looks good, too soon to say anything about durability but it seems well made, most toasters need a bit of care when in use and this is probably no exception.
