Description was accurate (vol 2 only of a two-volume set). Communication excellent, including prompt correction of my error in specifying shipping address. Item arrived well packaged (have taken notes on book packaging for my own gift giving!) and as described. Excellent overall, would definitely purchase from this seller again.

  • A great book on Japanese history/artifacts

If you're interested in Japanese glass, or even just Japanese history/archaeology in general, you will probably enjoy this book. I have not finished reading it yet, but so far it is starting in prehistory and moving forward, looking at what glass artifacts have been found, where and how they were made, and what events were occurring that affected the production and distribution of glass. There are many photographs of extant glass objects from the different periods, most of which I had never seen before. My main complaint is that the pictures are black & white. They are good pictures, but some things, especially the beads with different colors, would be much better in color.
