We have two front doors, the outer one being the security door and which now remains locked all day and night. So, anything that will not go through the letter box has to either remain outside the house or is returned to the depot. NOW, with doorbells situated on the ground floor and in the attic (where I work), WE ALWAYS KNOW IF THERE IS SOMETHING TO BE DELIVERED (OR SIGNED FOR). They are brilliant, and you can change the chime if you want and the volume. I am really pleased with myself for getting these doorbells. Great little bell, nicely packed and very quick delivery.
After much research, we decided on this Avantek. Although bigger than other of their models it has better range and a blue light. Didn't like the matt black with green LED. Arrived very quickly, and installed in minutes. Nice and loud and seems to work well. Time will tell on reliability. Good value.
