My new favorite rotisserie
The product is very well made and seems to be a heavy duty version of the old rotisserie I had for many years. The motor is so quiet, I had to check on it numerous times to see that it was operating. (It was.) Also, the knob handle is a nice feature. This is a great value for the price.

Poor Made Product/Marketed Product
First, the product arrived with only partial components inside the package (only the motor and steel shaft were delivered). Second, the motor was marketed as being able to handle a maximum load weight of 20 lbs. I placed two 6 pound chickens on the rotisserie spit and the motor could not turn the chickens without stopping. Third, after I removed one of the chickens, the motor would not complete an even speed while rotating. Erratic cooking speed. This motor is clearly a poorly designed incorrectly assembled.First, the product arrived with only partial components inside the package (only the motor and steel shaft were delivered). A great buy!
Although we use our grill often for steak, ribs, etc, it lacked one feature: a rotisserie. My wife and I thought of how we used to enjoy (many years ago) a counter-top kitchen rotisserie for roasts and chicken, so we began our search for a universal kit that would bolt onto our grill. We found one by the same manufacturer similar to this one in a local store but it wasn't a heavy duty model. This one is and it is great. All of the component parts seem to be of high quality. It went together easily as there are several mounting options to fit different grills. The motor is quiet and has a convenient on/off rocker switch - there's even, a counterweight included to ensure the spit turns smoothly, should you need it. Works Like It Should
Easy to assemble and adapt to my grill. With the counterweight it did a great job of smoothly rotating our first chicken. That is the only thing we have cooked with the rotisserie so far.
