It does its job but...
The style is very retro if you like that sort of thing, but the wide base has some practical consequences: the minimum fill is 3 cups (not efficient for smaller quantities), it is noisier than my old jug kettle, and the instructions say it needs descaling every 2 months. Overall It's a kettle and it does its job well enough.

Works perfectly well. Good price because box was damaged but kettle was in perfect condition. Only slight downside is that it's a little tricky to centre kettle on power base prior to switching on,hence 4 stars rather than 5.
