after trying several different makes of dust extractor and not being happy as either too big or too noisy at last found an ideal compact and fairly quiet model have attached to a table saw and collects dust a treat and with the different fittings supplied attached a hoover hose and cleaned the floor with excellent results compared to other brands at a more expensive price l believe this is better and would definitely recommend the purchase

This is noisy and is supposed to filter particulates down to 0.5 micrometres but it is really poor at extracting sawdust from a mitre saw which has built in extraction shroud. The filter clogs up quickly and when you open it to clean it you soon see how little it actually collects. The nose is wedged into the cowel of the saw but jumps out frequently. I can't honestly recommend this.

One of the reasons I bought this unit was that it claimed to be quiet, and perhaps it is quieter than other similar models, but it sounds quiet loud to me. However, the suction is very good and it works well with my bandsaw, which is what I bought it for. The extension hose is also a nice extra, so you can use it as a normal vacuum cleaner on other areas. All in all I am pleased with my purchase for the price.

I needed a dust extractor so did a fair bit of research for a decent and affordable machine, read numerous reviews for numerous types, they all seem to have equal pros and cons. So I decided not to go big brand and save quite a few £’s. Ok I know it’s not L or M class rated, however, it has great suction power, compact, easy to move around if required (the hose does contract when powered up) it’s solid, well built, the 50L drum is not plastic either and the various adapters (5 supplied) fit all my DIY power tools and tables. To sum up, in my opinion, excellent value for money and yes I would recommend this machine to the avid DIY’er.

this is a good compact extractor and the additional 35 mm hose makes it even better, as you do not have to move it around as much. It has plenty of suction power. Only down side is where the hose clamps on to the container, the intake port is to short and the hose keeps falling off. I came over the problem with a length of pipe to fit inside the intake to make it a bit longer so as to clamp the hose and stop it being pulled off.
