Four years after the release of their landmark debut in 2004, MTV VMA Award winning, Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum Island Records group The Killers have completed their fourth album - and first new studio album in two years - DAY & AGE, featuring the new single, "Human." DAY & AGE was produced by Stuart Price, a key figure in electronic music (Les Rhythms Digitales) who previously worked with The Killers on "Don't Shoot Me Santa," their 2007 Christmas single; as well as music on their 2007 compilation, Sawdust. DAY & AGE comes one year after the release of Sawdust and is a 17-song collection of previously unreleased session tracks, B-sides, rarities and one-offs. The album was assembled at a recording studio in New York's Hell's Kitchen, where The Killers worked with Rock And Roll Hall of Famer Lou Reed two recordings. Two singles and videos were issued: "Shadowplay" (from the motion picture soundtrack of Control, Anton Corbijn's biopic of Ian Curtis), and "Tranquilize".

    Excellent Album!

    The first song I heard by The Killers was "Mr. Brightside" back in 2004 when they were first becoming popular. I instantly loved it of course but didn't become a big fan of the band. During the summer of 2010, my brother & I found a copy of Day & Age at our local library. We were intrigued & borrowed it. After hearing the beginning of "Losing Touch" we knew there was something special about this band. The album became the soundtrack for the rest of the summer & The Killers are currently our favorite band. We own all their albums on CD & vinyl. Standout Tracks: "A Dustland Fairy Tale," "Neon Tiger," "Losing Touch," "Spaceman," & of course "Human." If you want great music I suggest you listen to this album. No matter what you listen to, you will appreciate this.

    Day and Age

    Love it. Always been a fan of The Killers. So instead of buying it from a retail store, decided to get it a bit cheaper here on Ebay. Listen to it on and back from work or anywhere inbetween. The music from the Killers has grown and this album has shown their maturity and also you still get that punch of the Killers we all know and love. A++ on this Album. If you a killers fan, this is a must have, if have not obtained yet.

    A Killers Masterpiece

    Day & Age is the perfect album that takes elements from The Killers debut album, Hot Fuss, and their sophomore album Sam's Town. Brandon Flowers vocals are better than ever, Ronnie's drums soar, Mark's bass thunders, and Dave's guitars come in at all the right moment. If you're a fan of The Killers, or of good music in general, you'll love Day & Age

    The Killers: Day and Age

    This album is fantastic! A great form of the Killers at their best. Moving and great lyrics! It has songs to get you moving like Spaceman, a fast moving pulse to lure you in. I loved the true Killers format of the album. One of their best yet. I bought it because I am a huge Killers fan and feel like this album captured them in a great way.
